Run Out to Fat Lamb Country Inn

Mileage: 190 miles approx
Time: 7 hours
Route: Start off South Leeds then met up with some LDC members at Bolton Abbey Steam Railway station. 19 cars then proceeded to Settle, past Horton-in-Ribblesdale to Hawes, where we were joined by another 2 cars. Worked our way up to Kirkby Stephen then turned left to find the Fat Lamb Country Inn a couple of miles down a nice twisty road.
After lunch, NYLOC group went over Buttertubs Pass, then back to Hawes, Masham, Ripon before parting our own separate ways to get home.

With 19 cars in a line it was quite a sight as we drove through some very scenic areas. Considering it was a sunday, the traffic was reasonably free flowing and we managed to arrive at the Fat Lamb without losing anyone. After some satisfying pub food, the group split into two, one going west, the other going East. Just before entering Masham, we had an Ice Cream stop which was very welcome, although the outside temperature was not exactly what you would call baking!
